He ran a blow out sale on Deathmate a while back and the box I bought helped me to get pretty near every card I needed (missing like two chase cards I think.)

I still don't have all the insert cards from the books-like Geomancer #4 and those... I liked those too...

Yeah, I bought quite a bit of ...

Just putting my two cents in here, but Valiant wasn't helped either by the first death of the comics industry. Stuff that was great even fell under the sword. The time was bad because collectors didn't really care what was between the covers of the books. All that mattered was who wrote what and who ...

I love the Valiant cards. I had the entire first set and the Geathmate set. Lost my storage locker though so they were in there. At least my comics weren't though. Looks like it's about time to put a new order in with Sonicdan.

A few years ago (around 98-00) I was at one of LCS we had here in Indianapolis and I was talking to a now a former employee and he told me that the store he was working at had lost more money on Deathmate than any other mini-series in the store's history.

I remember when Gen 13 was the hottest ...

Bob drew this for me on Friday. He took a few sentences from the character description I wrote and...wow!

The guy's name is Ubermann, an SS supersoldier for a comic project I'm writing. Bob is amazing.

With VEI definitely having all of that stuff, why doesn't vip team up with vei? maybe they can create some good ideas from the old valiant stuff. The legal battle will evevntually end either VEI or vip (most likely vip)

If you ran VEI would you want to team up with someone who is trying to steal ...

I see your point and respect what you are saying, but still, it is a fact that the future would not be set in stone as it hasn't happened and is shaped by the decisions that we make. The past is set in stone as it has already happened. I think Jack could have survived an encounter to the finish with ...

Was Deathmate the real start of Valiant's death?

I keep talking to some of my buddies and I keep trying to sell them on the new Harbinger HC that is coming out and all they keep telling me is that Deathmate was the reason why Valiant died as the Valiant books were horrible and rushed? Is this true that they were rushed? I didn't buy them when they ...

I thought it was a GREAT ending. It's kept me on the edge of my seat for 10 years now waiting on the next issue. But of course Jack survives that fall. It's the story about how he survives and what happens after that that I'm dying for Bob Hall to tell.

As for the conflict with XO killing Darque ...

From what Bob told me at the Comic Con, he just had to end it as he felt to close to the whole thing. He was angry with what Acclaim was doing with the company and he had to end Shadowman that way so he had some Finality for himself. I can understand where he is coming from.

Darques_Emporium, what is the size of the comic store? At my very small LCS, they won't even accept anything if it's after 1975. The comic shop may be struggling to stay afloat, and spending the money on some valuable comics only puts them further in debt unless they can find a buyer very quickly ...

I agree. Dinamic Forces is the company that does the new Battlestar Galactica books and The Lone Ranger, yes? Just seems weird to me that they would have such high profile licences like that and would be interrested in the garbage that VIP is doing.
