Re: Valiant Debuts Time Capsule
I can totally see this time capsule containing an exclusive comic similar to the Legends of the Geomancer (fingers crossed that it's not). Can't wait to see what it is though.

Re: VEI has released 300 unique issues!
I decided to make a count the other day (because I like to count and organize things for some reason) and I came up with 305. Here is my list.

X-O Manowar 25th Anniversary Special #1
Valiant Universe 2014

Re: Thoughts on the Future
Good point. I hear mobile games are the hot thing right now, even more so than portable gaming devices. I don't think time is the biggest factor though. Take a look at Iron Man. Around for a while, but almost unheard of before 2008 in the mainstream (he had his day I know), so maybe the movies and ...

Brainstorming here, so bear with me.
So I am in the store the other day and I take note of all of the Batman Halloween costumes (it was't hard they are everywhere) and I get to thinking about why Batman seems to be so popular with the mainstream. First. Batman is Batman and can get away with saying ...

I'm building my own conspiracy theory brainstorm that Sunlight on Snow is an early stage of Father. This issue had the A.I. with their own sort of freedom/rights or whatnot, the bleeding monk was reborn already bleeding to individuals who will help guide him/her (or most likely experiment and push ...

Exclusive to retailers who buy x amount or limited to retailers who buy x amount, but you are right jeremycoe, with the term limited, as that was the official term I believe. I am glad that 2, 3, and 4 are running less expensive than number 1 though. I'm sure $10 is completely possible.

Re: LOTG #2
Issue number 2 was a fun read for me. Its been a month(ish) since I read it last, but I really liked the adventure aspect and the end cliffhanger. I was kind of miffed at the exclusive aspect of LotG, but after I got it through Midtown, I was happy and all hard feelings were made well. I know.... I ...

Re: Dead ISN'T Dead anymore?
I was disappointed with Betamax being brought back. I don't want too defend Dead Drop too much (I thought it was terrible), but I just told myself that if Betamax had survived having half his body replaced with machinery then why not a short term decapitation? ..... Ya, I'll put this in a Quantum ...

This has got to be one of all time favorite Valiant issues. The levels of epicness were up through the stratosphere and was great seeing all of the tie ins to future Japan. Primary Reebo has some serious competition now for my top.

Jaunty #0. You know, that talking monkey from the Shadowman comics. I can totally see all sorts of deep lore with this character.
A Rai #0 would also be pretty cool: showcasing the first Rai or something like that.

I play from time to time. The game is fun, but I feel like one has to be dropping lots of real life money into it to stay current with the new cards and events that are released quite frequently.

Not that Bloodshot is anything like Superman, but I would assume that he would have the same vulnerabilities towards magic--weak. Nobody's judging. I am near becoming a pony encyclopedia with my daughter's love of Pony comics. Anyways, I see it going down like this:

Bloodshot v the My Little Pony universe (or at least the six main ponies). Bloodshot would end up victorious over the forces of friendship and have plenty of protein for after battle repairs. My dream comic book crossover.

I caught that too in my recent reread of A&A. Perhaps Armstrong gives his copy to a Geomancer in the future, resulting in two identical books in the present storyline. That's what I figured it as anyways.

I have a four year old daughter and we read back issues of IDW's TMNT almost every night. I also have a two year old son and a daughter due to be sliced and diced out of her mom next month. I'm thinking of the possibility of a few grand kids before I am ready to give up my collection, but I plan on ...

Re: Dynamite (sucks!) and James Bond
I have read the Casino Royale novel. It was great, but dare I say, I liked the movie a bit more. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the unique villain henchmen such as Jaws and Oddjob and how they translate to the page of a comic book. Lots of artistic (visual and storytelling) potential with the ...

I guess i should have thrown a link out there too. Thanks. I read the article and was like, "YES YES YES!" Fingers crossed for awesomeness, as I am not familiar with the writer at all, but the art does look great.

Dynamite and James Bond
I see Dynamite mentioned a lot around these parts along with the sucking, but here is to wishing for another awesome 007 comic. I am excited to see it as more of its own thing and not a cheesy movie universe tie in. Dynamite. Had to test out the auto "sucks" out here too. Funny.
