Dynamite and James Bond
I see Dynamite mentioned a lot around these parts along with the sucking, but here is to wishing for another awesome 007 comic. I am excited to see it as more of its own thing and not a cheesy movie universe tie in. Dynamite. Had to test out the auto "sucks" out here too. Funny.

You'd probably be stoked to hear this news then:

I just could not get into James Bond or at least the Fleming version of him any way. I'm fine with other interpretations, mainly anything going for the movie vibe, but the novels yeesh.

I guess i should have thrown a link out there too. Thanks. I read the article and was like, "YES YES YES!" Fingers crossed for awesomeness, as I am not familiar with the writer at all, but the art does look great.

I have read the Casino Royale novel. It was great, but dare I say, I liked the movie a bit more. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the unique villain henchmen such as Jaws and Oddjob and how they translate to the page of a comic book. Lots of artistic (visual and storytelling) potential with the comics medium in my opinion.

Oh damn! I've still got a copy of the Yars Revenge mini-comic that came with the original game. Drawn by Frank Cirroco, no less - one of my all time favourite comic artists!Brother Darque wrote:also this:

It's a shame that dynamite is getting this liscense though. I won't be supporting it.
