Book of Geomancer in VEI

Are there now two copies of the book of Geomancer in VEI continuity?

Tama has brought hers from the future, but doesn't Armstrong also have a copy in his satchel (A&A 4)?
This is what happens when you try to work...

I caught that too in my recent reread of A&A. Perhaps Armstrong gives his copy to a Geomancer in the future, resulting in two identical books in the present storyline. That's what I figured it as anyways.

Have to admit, it hadn't escaped my attention, but then again I let a lot slide in comics, so... :kidaround:

The thing is the present day book is pretty much useless. We don't know how long it was in Armstrong's possession not being updated, and would only include the past anyway (much of which Gilad might already know). It's the future version which is important as it can tell us what happened in the books past/our present and future.

As someone who doesn't particularly like A&A, I'm disgruntled by the fact that so much that made Eternal Warrior great was thrust into a book that I have no interest in reading.

Back when VEI was still establishing itself as a company and its characters in its universe A+A was utilised as a means to introduce the Eternal Warrior to the reading audience (for whatever reason) before the character had been given its own book. Stands to reason that a certain amount of explanation regarding who the character is and what it can do had to be integral to make it interesting to new and old readers alike.

Perhaps more of this material could/should have been covered in the original EW series, but it seemed to me more that a different approach to establishing the character was being taken with that series before it got cancelled, so one can only assume all that stuff was to come, but eventually didn't :?

In which case, Valiant readers have two choices: Either read the EW/A+A books and take them as they are individually, or also delve into the other applicable comic intentionally/coincidentally and garner the best of both.
