Dinesh just replied to one of my tweets about Rai - he confirmed it will continue post #12. Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere else

I spoke to Crain and Kindt at NYCC and they both indicated they're on board for a while.

That statue is pure awesomeness.

Rai has sooo much potential - I'm interested to see where this current arc leaves Rai and the direction for the future.

This is good news (although I had no idea that it was discussed as being cancelled). Even better because I'm only buying books that Valiant plans on publishing contiguously as ongoing series, and once they stop, I stop too.

I don't know if cancellation was discussed honestly. I think maybe it had to do more with the format, I.e. Would they continue like they have been or change it and relaunch with a new #1. I am glad for no change.

No, outright cancellation was discussed in the thread involving December? January? solicitations due to the Rai blurb referring to issue #12 as, I think it finale of the story.

Admittedly, it could have been taken that way.
