Invincible is one of the series' that I'm hoping to one day purchase, in full, in TPB form. I REALLY need to get started.

I flip through the books constantly, and it always looks amazing. It's long been one of those books I've been trying to remain ignorant of if only because I know it'll be good ...

Funny thing is, I was only able to find the 1st printing of #1 just today (after somehow missing it in my pre-order). It'll be ~ a week before it arrives.

Can't wait!

This is terrible news. I just checked his website late last week, to see his latest sketch and briefly read his comments on the upcoming TELLOS collection. Only last night I pulled the MODERN MASTERS volume devoted to him so as to get started reading it.

He was far too young, an amazing talent, and ...

Some excellent recommendations so far. A few others if I could:

Mike Allred's Madman: Oddity Odyssey - Reprinting the zany, thought-provoking, and critically acclaimed Madman Tundra series. Mike Allred's art is a blast, the storyline is mind grabbing, it's unpredictable and "Frank Einstein" is ...

Amazing Spider-Man #39 thru ~127. I love what Ditko did for Spider-Man, and it's great stuff, but nothing has surpassed John Romita's (and Stan Lee's) Spider-Man in my eyes. Not before or after. It's the "definitive" run for me and I'm hoping for a couple of Omnibus' soon so I can ...

I think you have it just about right when you say the Green Lantern ring. Being limited only to your imagination (and possibly the need to recharge it) is a pretty daunting ability.

Super speed? Check. Flight? Check. Oversized boxing gloves? Check.

I don't know that there's a better choice out ...
