What comic book "weapon" would you most want?
If you could have any comic book weapon or object of power (excluding almost omnipotent items such as a cosmic cube or the Infinity Gauntlet), what would you choose?
For me, two come immediately to mind---Mjolnir (Thor's hammer) and a Green Lantern ring.
On the one hand, it would be awesome to have Mjolnir not only because of the power that the hammer itself holds but the power it bestows on it's owner as well, such as strength, durability, etc.
But I would have to go with a GL ring. I'd be able to do virtually anything I could imagine, and I have a pretty good imagination. I'd be able to fly and traverse space either simply by flying or through wormholes, teleport, turn invisible, time travel, form constructs, talk telepathically, create force fields, manipulating sub-atomic particles, use it as a universal translater, read minds, etc., etc.
Mjolnir would be my second choice though.

Yeah, but that Wind Scar is one helluva offensive weapon!Chiclo wrote:GEEK.slym2none wrote:Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga.

The Tensusaiga has the power to heal.
It was only a matter of time. Kitty Pryde grew up, Jubilation Lee had to, too.Side note - when did Jubilee get stacked?

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I kinda figured tiny cans were like part of her mutant power. When she lost the X, she... enhanced.
OK, maybe a little.

My copy of New Warriors #2 (the newest X-book) is in my storage unit.
Here's some panels from the upcoming New Warriors 3, though.

The Tantu Totem (vixen's artefact to give her the abilites of animals - or simply humans at present...). I think it would be cool to fly, or then be really strong or what ave you.
Or some battlearmour/battlesuit (X-O, Iron Man, War Machine, Hardware - I am not too fussy).
Or failing that, Starman's Gravity Rod.
Or some Pym Particles.
Or the Black Hood's hood (Impact version).

That's a great issue! I love the What If? series.Brother J wrote:The Ultimate Nullifier (I'm homicidal and suicidal, just like Sabu!)![]()
Just kidding actually, but the nullifier is an awesome weapon, used to it's ultimate effect in What If? Vol. 1 #32 by Korvac. I'm telling you, if you haven't read that issue, you're missing out.

Thanks. I don't get that book, so I'll have to check it out some other time.Chiclo wrote:New Warriors #2.Lightning Strike wrote:What issue is that?Chiclo wrote:GEEK.slym2none wrote:Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga.

I guess the Heart of the Universe is out of play. Jubilee's running around in a pretty sweet armour in that new X-book.

I think you have it just about right when you say the Green Lantern ring. Being limited only to your imagination (and possibly the need to recharge it) is a pretty daunting ability.
Super speed? Check. Flight? Check. Oversized boxing gloves? Check.
I don't know that there's a better choice out there, for me.

That's two for a GL ring. Now, if we each had one, which one of us would win in a battle?Texcap wrote:I think you have it just about right when you say the Green Lantern ring. Being limited only to your imagination (and possibly the need to recharge it) is a pretty daunting ability.

Manga/anime... you can catch the animated series on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim early in the mornings. It's a feudal-era Japanese fantasy tale with demons and the like. The Tetsusaiga is Inuyasha's sword, which transforms from a rusty and battered old katana to a huge, fang-like sword that can "destroy 100 demons with a single stroke."Lightning Strike wrote:Whaaaaaaaaaat is that?slym2none wrote:Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga.
