Anyone read "Invincible"?

Everything else comic-related that's not VALIANT-related.

This is a cool book that doesn't get enough credit. Great writing, good art, neat story and characters.

This book started out great and just keeps getting better and better every month.

Anyone else here read it?

I read the trades. Excellent book. One of my favorites.

I also recommend BRIT. Some nice tie-ins.

Excellent book that I must catch up on... I have the first four TPB's and they are great. I really enjoy Walking Dead and Astounding Wolf-man as well... imo, Kirkman is definately one of the top writers in the business at the moment.

I thought that it does get enough credit. I hear about it everywhere.

I haven't read it yet though.

Invincible is one of the series' that I'm hoping to one day purchase, in full, in TPB form. I REALLY need to get started.

I flip through the books constantly, and it always looks amazing. It's long been one of those books I've been trying to remain ignorant of if only because I know it'll be good and my wallet could really use the break. But TPB's are the plan one of these days.

Very observant. :P

If you haven't tried Invincible, then your life is not complete. Start with the first trade.

Even without reading the stories, you can tell from observing the market that people love these books. Invincible AND The Walking Dead books are printed in single issues, trades, hardcovers, and omnibuses AND they sell well (many printings). All those different ways to read the stories AND the single issues have maintained value over the last several years. I doubt there are any other books out there that can be said about besides USM.

I don't know. I'll have to think about that one.

I like the yellow. I think the new costume would look better if the colors of the pants and the boots were switched. In the end, they could draw Mark naked every panel and I still wouldn't care because the story is so damn good.

Hey 400, do you know if Invincible #0 is included in the first trade?

Invincible #0 is included in Invincible Tpb Vol. 5 - "The Facts of Life". From what I gather, it takes place between issues 22 & 23. :thumb:
