Very true about art choices. Maybe I would like him a bit better with a different artist. I have not enjoyed the last few artist with him.

I have bought every comic (besides the QW weird continuum). I'm almost out of VEI. And renegades is part of that. If I wasn't a committed type person I would be out already.

Yes! Loved it. I too guessed the spoiler and was glad/sad I was correct. I'm looking forward to seeing how Deathmate can interact with the rest of the world.

I liked this issue much more than last. It felt more true to the characters and the story grew on me. Art still makes it quite cartoonish, but overall better.

Probably one of the most dialogue full stories from Vendetti. I really enjoyed the whole thing. Ryp did a great job showing the story.

Yes, first time ever that I hesitated to buy a Valiant (besides QW sequel). Very sad. I used to love AA. Now... I didn't care for the art, the characterization, the story, the stupid Bacchus and the dumb fish...

To the original question, 1 is definitely Kannon. As for Seven I'm pretty sure it is Ninjak. After all even in VH1 Ninjak was part of Weaponeer.

I thought it was fantastic. I like how Van Meter goes right into the supernatural/magic vocabulary without any additional exposition or call out boxes to explain them. This is the world the Mirages operate in. Deal with it. I liked that approach.

When DC relaunched I picked up several titles. I started dropping them when they began to get overly complicated and even began to ignore their brand new continuity. But I get it. 52 titles. That is hard.

Alas... It's only 9ish titles and Valiant seems to be dropping the United feel: dead drop ...

So... It looks cool but do they ignore UNITY? I glanced at the preview and Someone says "the last time they worked together was cleaning up MI6". Which was before Unity...

This was a great Valiant day. This and XO were great!

We see the sages. We see how Neela becomes the Mistress (her own choice to "end" it.). We see the altiverse that Q&W referred to. (Which I wasn't excited about.).

Wow. I think this might be the best issue that Venditti has written. The character development of Aric: indecision, strength, guts, and inner turmoil. Saana was more prominent. Trill was frustrated but not in a way I saw coming. And... We are back to an unfinished thread with Ninjak from 2 years ago ...

Shadow seven. We only saw 5 villians and then Roku/Angelina and Collin/Ninjak.

My thoughts: ninjak was supposed to be one of them, but he was thrown out. Roku is the enforcer.
