Re: Bloodshot: Reborn #15 Discussion
I'm still having a hard time not hearing Robert Downey Jr.'s voice from his character from Tropic Thunder for the jungle Bloodshot. Issue 14 was a really great read and tease for this issue tomorrow.

Great issue... I shudder at the fallout from the cliffhanger. Lot of unhappy Kay McHenry fans in 5... 4... 3... 2...

Simply unbelievable! How long is the Bloodshot Island story arc? They have a lot to talk about now...

Yes! Loved it. I too guessed the spoiler and was glad/sad I was correct. I'm looking forward to seeing how Deathmate can interact with the rest of the world.

This is an absolutely fabulous title and the artwork is always outstanding. I've had quibbles here and there but this is great stuff.

Loved this issue. Have to go back and read #15, but it seemed like Deathmate has been hunting the Bloodshots for longer than makes sense with the reveal of Deathmate's identity.

Re: Bloodshot: Reborn #15 Discussion
Nope. One of them said something them 'it used to be something else hunting us, but recently it switched to her'. I love how this is setting up Bloodshot USA. PRS is again getting ready to unleash a plague (all the Bloodshots via the virus they mention), then they would make the country pay for a Cure in the form of Deathmate! She might even be able to 'cure' all the virused Bloodshots by sucking the nanites out of them, huh? Almost like magic! How much is Gilad gonna be *SQUEE* when he hears about this desecration of a Geomancer's body?!jeremycoe wrote:Loved this issue. This makes me wonder how much time has lapsed since The Valiant.

Re: Bloodshot: Reborn #15 Discussion
Maybe go back to Reborn #1 and see if it gives any indication of the time between that and the end of The Valiant? I'd guess that the first two arcs of Reborn only took a week or so maximum, but that's off the top of my head. I got the feeling that Ray wandered for a little while before the stuff in Reborn started happening. Maybe it's been a month or two since the end of The Valiant, in world?Keith wrote:This makes me wonder how much time has lapsed since The Valiant.

Re: Bloodshot: Reborn #15 Discussion
It really raises a lot of questions. I think they need to really convince us why she was the pick for PRS; why not some random person. IDK if I liked that twist, hope its not some pigeon holed nonsense. The art has been top notch and I dig the story, just not so sure about the twist.

It's comics, ya gotta have the twist! They picked Kay because she could already fly and tap primal Earth energies; I'm going with that.QUARTZ wrote:It really raises a lot of questions.
