I could get behind a Rai hardcover. Those first 8 issues were awesome, but I wonder how they would collect those with those two pesky Unity issues in there. Would they go 1-5 and 8, or just collect 1-8?

I paid $20 for Unity #1 once upon a time. Not too long ago, I got six copies of Unity #1 platinum for $10. My, how times have changed.

IMHO, Secret Wars is a good, fun superhero romp. It hasn't aged the best, but there are a bunch of classic moments in the book (Hulk vs. the mountain, Spidey gets the symbiote, Dr. Doom vs. Galactus). I think it should be read!

I thought that issue #60 was pretty good and the Dan Jurgens "Brave New World" arc was worth reading. The rest is a bit of a train wreck, however.

There's an LCS near me that has the VVSS X-O #0, but it's priced at $30 and the owner won't budge on the price. I said my top offer was $20, but he won't move. Of course, it's been sitting in the longbox for about four years now , you'd think he'd eventually sell and make SOME money off it instead ...

It sucks when that happens. There's a shop near me that has a BEAUTIFUL copy of Silver Surfer #3, probably VF or NM, but the cover's all bleached like the one on the right. It breaks your heart to see books like this!

I was going to pick up a copy last Wednesday, but it was a $40 week at the LCS, so I pulled a copy and asked them to put it in my slot for this week. Thankfully it's only a $10 week this week. Can't wait to check this book out!
