I'm trying to justify it to myself, because I love Valiant, and I love trading cards, and I really, genuinely want to give them as much of my money as possible, but I also want it to be justified. I keep all 3 Valiant universes organized in release order in my longboxes, because that's the order I read them in.

I think I'm gonna start putting money back now, in the hopes that by the time it actually hits, I'll be able to pay for it. I do this partially because this statue is a thing that I want, and partially because I want to support every single thing that Valiant is doing right now.

They will sit on my shelf unopened, for I find their contents vile, but they will make my shelf more glorious nonetheless.

I've got the X-O and Harbinger, but still no A&A yet. Keep hoping to run across one. I eagerly await the day when my Valiant HCs stretch across an entire shelf.

Re: animation - I'd love to see Peter Chung (Aeon Flux, Phantom 2040, Reign, The Animatrix, Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury) take a stab at X-O Manowar. His style would fit the current incarnation of the character pretty well.

Well, HeroClix is the premier superhero game on the market, and Valiant is the fastest-rising star in the superhero business, so I can't imagine that they haven't already been considering it. My guess is they're just waiting for the right time and/or for VEI to contact them about it.
