congratulations!

The waiting was bringing me down a while back. That (and life away from the 'net) gave me a long break.

But I just ran across news of the new lawsuit, so i had to check in here.

Purely from a fan viewpoint, its a morale blow to know that my dream scenario came so close to happening - but won't now ...

Thats what I get out of it too.

We are just about to hit the 1 year anniversary of their official establishment of their site.

The timeline just may seem distorted a bit because we are in a news lull right now.

I check in from time to time, but haven't seen anything to get excited about from VEI for some time now.

But when some news hits I will be back to celebrate.

I have no idea if it was a changed story or a coloring glitch.

Not that it necessarily adds much to the original theme of this thread, but Jim Shhoter revealed more details from his sp-lit with DC.

Once again, he mentions having offers from companies other than DC. No more details than that. But he does sound like a guy who isn't planning on spending any idle ...

About Bloodshot, I should clarify.

I always liked his series, its just that Rampage is where I went from reading it because it was a good VALIANT series - to really being excited about it.

Probably a combination of really liking the art, and seeing him interact with the rest of the growing ...

But Marvel's New Universe was most definitely Shooter's dry run for VALIANT.

I think Shooter has proven to be at his best when he is putting together a fresh universe - which is why either Dark Horse or VEI or both would ...
