Shooter has undertaken a major creative endeavor yet TBA
Hi there guys.
Look what I found over at the NYCC site:

Hopefully it´s the earth shattering news we are waiting for...

At age thirteen, Jim Shooter began writing Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes, Superman and other DC Comics. In 1978, he accepted the position of Editor in Chief of Marvel Comics under the condition that he would be allowed to improve things for Marvel's creators. He introduced royalties and a spectrum of other incentives, rights and benefits, attracting a Who's Who of talent. Sales boomed. Later, Shooter founded Valiant, Defiant, and Broadway Comics and was the principal creator of their characters and universes. Today, he's the Editor in Chief of Illustrated Media, a custom comics company. In addition, he has undertaken a major creative endeavor yet to be announced as of this writing.

Looking at the Valiant Entertainment website, there are two roles which Shooter would excel at, and would fit the bill of a "major creative endeavor".
Let´s keep our fingers crossed!

the original Shooter bio from the NYCC page said Shooter was going to make an announcement (so it wasn't just a board rumor like I thought), but I guess it changed at some point, so they changed the bio to what you see now.t_inkster wrote:Yes, this is what I was referring to in the "Any NYCC 2009 News?" thread. I was disappointed that, it seems, no such announcement was made.

So It appears they were still in negotiations and or still crossing the T's & Dotting The i's. Hard not to be excited with anything Shooter is working on.Brother J wrote:the original Shooter bio from the NYCC page said Shooter was going to make an announcement (so it wasn't just a board rumor like I thought), but I guess it changed at some point, so they changed the bio to what you see now.t_inkster wrote:Yes, this is what I was referring to in the "Any NYCC 2009 News?" thread. hmm, I'm not 100% sure, I thought I recalled seeing mention of the supposed "announcement" and an online friend confirmed that he was sure it had been changed at some point. Ah, who cares, I guess we know when we know.t_inkster wrote:I'm pretty sure the bio looks the same as when I read it in the week leading up to the Con. I certainly remember the words "...yet to be announced as of this writing." But, if it has changed, that's definitely good news.
