It just occurred to me that if the assistant dude becomes a Doctor Eclipse type villain, his motivation will probably be to replace Hwen as the other half of the Doctors Mirage. Which would be creepy as hell, and be a good thing to see play out. Hopefully they spend some time setting it up first.

I was pretty floored by the extreme lengths that the Vine plantings under Trill went to in order to help him achieve his goals. Killing their own kind in such large numbers when there are hardly any of them left to begin with... I'll never understand the urge to follow such fanatacism.

This was good, though the last story was trying way, way too hard to be funny. It bored me nearly instantly.

I too liked that Bloodshot had a bit more personality than normal in the first story, and seeing a classic superhero version of the VU was neat.
