Re: Harbinger Wars II #3 Discussion

Kind of a tough read for a big H.A.R.D. Corps fan. Palmer seems like a straight up villain now rather than someone pressed into doing morally ambiguous things for either a greater good or to keep his head from exploding. He doesn't even seem like a strong or competent villain. Even Grave Dog never ...

Re: Valiant Comics - Why Don't I Feel More Excited?

My enthusiasm ebbed when the titles I liked and looked forward to were cancelled or changed writers. I think the only one I have a vague interest now is Shadowman and I'm pretty iffy on it. I used to plan my trips to the comic book store around new issues of Dysart's Harbinger and Van Lente's Archer ...

Re: Secret Weapons

I'd like to see Palmer and Hard Corps (either Palmer's team of good guys or PRS's group of bad guys) come back. Maybe revisit The Armorines. Some bits of The Sect leftover and Ivar's dinosaur friend would be cool additions. Might even be a good title for the return of Jack Boniface. And, what the ...

Re: DEATHMATE is coming

H.A.R.D. Corps and Sex Criminals sounds like a good combo. Hardcore Sex Criminals. They'd probably have a different name like HARDON Corps. "Lifeline...switch me to semen pixie." They can be the Sex Military to the Sex Police in the series.

Re: Imperium #13

Always nice to see my beloved H.A.R.D. Corps...and written by Dysart again, no less. I'm a little surprised to see the same gang from Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps still alive given how much of a meat grinder that program is. As nerdy as it sounds I'm looking forward to a Palmer/Gravedog fight. Also ...

Re: CBR: Original Harbinger Team Reunites for New Imperium A

Love the idea of Dysart writing Livewire again and the idea of a Palmer/Gravedog fight makes me feel like I'm twelve again. Anytime H.A.R.D. Corps makes an appearance I'm interested. Hopefully, we'll get some interaction between Livewire and Stronghold again.

Re: Valiant Give Away Full-Size Battle Axes To Comic Stores

All they need is one person to lop off a finger. Guaranteed to make the rounds on social media and cable news, thus free advertising!

So to get a new H.A.R.D. Corps series maybe I should plant a bomb in my head or poke a hole in my chest for a Bleeding Monk series. Now if you will excuse me I ...

Re: The direction of Doctor Mirage

I think she should have a name change. I hate the name "Punk Mambo". It sounds like a bad indie comic form the 90's. IMO

I rather like it. It makes me wonder about other musical or sub-culture and magical combinations like Mod Wiccan, Techno Bokor, Ska Wizzard or Techno Chaos Magician.

Punk ...

Re: Unity: A casually negative pre-mortem

I'd also love a H.A.R.D. Corps series.

My problem with Unity was that I liked the characters individually but not as a team. Sometimes having a great guitarist, drummer, bassist and singer produces a mediocre band. It seemed like an idea that came about because every company needs their version of ...

Rai and Ninjak swords would be nice as would a Master Darque hoody with the same designs etched onto his body.

Re: What is your reading order for your Valiant books?

Typically, it's a fight between what Dysart has written and what Van Lente has written. Usually the cooler looking cover gets first read, that or I just throw the comics together in a death match and I read the survivor.

Re: Valiant To Create A New Female Icon For 2016

Midnight Earlene.

Seriously, any of the suggestions listed by Bleedingcool would be fine by me. A Livewire book with Stronghold as love-interest would be cool, at the very least a zero issue about how they met and started dating.

I think some female legacy heroes would be nice like a female Rai ...

Oh, and how long could @x have possibly been on Earth? Like a month? Seems like a short amount of time to develop a cult around you, but I suppose anything is possible.

I suppose @x was kind of like the obelisk in 2001: A Space Odyssey. He just appears and provokes worship.
Maybe there are more ...

Until this issue Rai has been a book that I wanted to like more than I actually did (much like Shadowman). It's always been pretty but there always seemed to be something lacking in way of character and story.
This was a wonderful issue, though. Rai now has something of a personality, Earth is ...

Re: Dead ISN'T Dead anymore?

What if Laurel and Hardy appeared in the Walking Dead, would that work well? :kidaround:
Then I would watch The Walking Dead again. If Ollie hits Rick with his hat every time he's a *SQUEE* the show would win me back. Might as well throw in Groucho leading around a chained zombie Harpo.
