Best news in comics I have gotten in quite some time. I just got the e-mail about the release and can't wait! This is just the beginning, but hopefully the start of a long endeavor.

I really wonder why sellers grade books like these to sell? It's almost a guaranteed loss and multiplied by dozens of books can really add up!

Logging on, I caught a glimpse of a graphic for Magnus #5 saying 1991 - 2011. Made me feel old as I remember buying and paying for that comic when it came out at Warp 9 comics. Twenty years. It just doesn't seem that long ago.

It's all good man. I guess the problem I have with CGC graded books is the automatic price gouge at the top of the auctions. I see brand new comics sometimes that are being sold for $29.99 right out the door because it has been slabbed and a number popped onto the plastic case.

Love that cover. I actually like it better than Jim Lee's work on the first issue. I'm happy just to have both version of #5. I would love to have that original though. Which reminds me Dan, I need to order more books from your site.

Why is everyone so hot and bothered with CGC graded books? You can't read them once they are slabbed. It's sad, really.
If you haven't realized that people who collect CGC graded books already have MANY other copies for reading, you need to get your head out of your... turtleneck.
