Wow, thanks. Mighty nice of you.
Well, you all are guests in my town. It's the least I can do.

I am way looking forward to meeting everyone.
It's going to be a good time fo sho.

It will be tough to get everyone's name/screen name straight though. Name tags are kind of lame, but I'm terrible with names-let alone two per person.

I was thinking about getting a black T-shirt with ELVEEN on the front.

Kinda like in the Color of Money.

They're not free :thumb:

My hotel is far, far away from the Sheraton. A taxi is cost prohibitive when you're on a budget, heh. :thumb:
:?

Of course they're not free.

If you're going to come to San Diego from Mexico City, it's probably not the time to tighten the purse strings.

You are way too far to walk. I'm guessing that you will be downtown all day for the con, and then meeting up with everyone that night. If you don't plan on going back to the hotel in the mean time and can get to poker, I can get you home no problem.
Yeah, that's the plan. And thanks :thumb:

I'm taking the trolley from the hotel (which is next to the Fashion Valley station) to the convention center and stay there all day for the four days of the con.

I'll probably be in the convention center from 10 am till 2-3 pm, depending on the panels' schedules.

On Thursday, we'll see what happens. I mean, what's the plan, do we get together at the convention center or the lobby of the hotel?
I think everyone would like to relax a bit after the con, get cleaned up (THIS IS IMPERATIVE), etc. I recommend meeting at our hotel at 7PM. We'll order pizza, drinks, etc from there, unless someone has any other suggestions.

Yeah - nothing like going out with smelly fanboys who have the accumulated days worth of all the con's smelly fanboys on them.

Luckily, the NY show wasn't very large at The Penn.

Lost Boys 2 Debuts At Comic-Con
Lost Boys: The Tribe, the straight-to-DVD sequel to the cult 1987 teen-vampire movie, will have its world premiere on July 24 at Comic-Con International in San Diego. The 10 p.m. screening at the convention center will take place five days before the movie drops on Blu-ray disc and DVD on July 29.

We have to have at least a special segment on the Valiant Validated Poker game, or the VVPG.

I don't know what OTV will be doing yet, but I'd like to do something.

Coverage of the VVPG is a distinct possibility. I just need to make sure I have the equipment for it.

I would like to have a small portable audio recorder, but I have to look into it and see what I can do.
