My wife drives a Civic so it's a 5 seater tops.
Wow, thanks. Mighty nice of you.
I am way looking forward to meeting everyone.
It will be tough to get everyone's name/screen name straight though. Name tags are kind of lame, but I'm terrible with names-let alone two per person.
I was thinking about getting a black T-shirt with ELVEEN on the front.
Kinda like in the Color of Money.

My hotel is far, far away from the Sheraton. A taxi is cost prohibitive when you're on a budget, heh.

Of course they're not free.
If you're going to come to San Diego from Mexico City, it's probably not the time to tighten the purse strings.

I think everyone would like to relax a bit after the con, get cleaned up (THIS IS IMPERATIVE), etc. I recommend meeting at our hotel at 7PM. We'll order pizza, drinks, etc from there, unless someone has any other suggestions.ManofTheAtom wrote:Yeah, that's the plan. And thanksBlood of Heroes wrote:Yes, that is the term.![]()
You are way too far to walk. I'm guessing that you will be downtown all day for the con, and then meeting up with everyone that night. If you don't plan on going back to the hotel in the mean time and can get to poker, I can get you home no problem.![]()
I'm taking the trolley from the hotel (which is next to the Fashion Valley station) to the convention center and stay there all day for the four days of the con.
I'll probably be in the convention center from 10 am till 2-3 pm, depending on the panels' schedules.
On Thursday, we'll see what happens. I mean, what's the plan, do we get together at the convention center or the lobby of the hotel?

Yeah - nothing like going out with smelly fanboys who have the accumulated days worth of all the con's smelly fanboys on them.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote: I think everyone would like to relax a bit after the con, get cleaned up (THIS IS IMPERATIVE)
Luckily, the NY show wasn't very large at The Penn.

We have to have at least a special segment on the Valiant Validated Poker game, or the VVPG.
