His Watchmen contract said once it was out of print the rights reverted back to him. At the time that was understood to be a couple of years at most. I'm not saying I agree with him on many things, but I think he has a right to complain in this instance.

I can't say that I'm surprised since that Disney did with their comics that Boom! Studios were publishing and IMHO Boom was doing some great work and showing that the long-running Disney comics still had a lot of life in them and showing that some Disney properties like The Muppets could work in ...

They have it in the US, Barnes and Nobles around my area stock it in the magazine section, in the comics area. I rarely buy it since it's pretty pricey.

I do wonder if they're going to censor or change the comic strips Miracleman read as a kid (Captain Marvel). Marvel Comics would likely have to pay royalty fees to DC/Time Warner if they keep that in there, however brief the "appearance" is.

Wait... it ended on Tuesday night.
Actually it ended earlier. The problem was that when they offered the deal it really screwed things up and the site crashed because too many people were trying to take advantage of the deal at the same time. They say they plan on doing the promotion again ...

I was able to score 2 of the batman inc. #8 at my LCS today. They have a few more left if anyone wants me to check back tomorrow - all on the ones on the shelf had the same little spine ding so I passed on picking up more.
