Spreadsheet is the most common solution. Sometimes the hardest part is identifying what you are actually looking at, though.

I would not reproduce the VCB. It has been a source of much trouble whenever it is discussed in reproduction terms. The original Valiant did not want it to become public. The modern Valiant (VEI) also did not.

Does there happen to be a date on that custom comics pamphlet? It seems to me to be from a much earlier era than the other items. Although I guess it's possible Voyager was still able to take on custom comics work as late as Unity, but I seriously doubt it.

The general consensus, supported by statements from people at valiant at the time, are that the runs on these books are huge. Along with that though is the fact that they were largely sold outside of the direct comic market. Walmart and the like.

It is a great copy. Your interior pictures don't show the centerfold. Be sure there are 8 wraps plus the cover. Pages and interior of the cover are so white I would expect no rust on the staples.

I believe that most pressers will tell you that improving cardstock cover books is an iffy prospect at the high grades. The typical defects are not removable. Embossed is just the kicker on Solar 10.

I'm not so sure. I think demand so far outstrips supply more being available might make things worse. None of us have THAT many already graded of any one book.

I took a look at big mess of graded DM orange currently listed on eBay. My honest opinion is that the 9.8 was a mistake by CBCS. It looks like MCS sent in a pile of them and CBCS just screwed up the grade on one of them. Ironically the PGX 9.8 looks like a real unbound copy. Who'da thunk it?
