I had the 1,000,000th post on this board and all I got was this lousy custom ranking.

Magnus 12 - Cover Swipe?

I recently bought Tomahawk #56 because I was struck by the similarity to Magnus #12. I don't really think it counts as a swipe or homage, but there's some overlap in the composition and the subject matter.

I'd go with coincidence on this one but I certainly see what you are saying!

I would buy anything about these characters, sadly.

The composition looks too similar in certain ways to be a coincidence, and considering Gonzalo Mayo was working in comics since the '70s, it's very possible he was inspired by the composition of the Tomahawk cover for Magnus 12. Great find man.
