Magnus 12 - Cover Swipe?
I recently bought Tomahawk #56 because I was struck by the similarity to Magnus #12. I don't really think it counts as a swipe or homage, but there's some overlap in the composition and the subject matter.

I'd go with coincidence on this one but I certainly see what you are saying!

- I would buy anything about these characters, sadly.

The composition looks too similar in certain ways to be a coincidence, and considering Gonzalo Mayo was working in comics since the '70s, it's very possible he was inspired by the composition of the Tomahawk cover for Magnus 12. Great find man.possumgrease wrote: Fri May 09, 2025 1:43 pm I recently bought Tomahawk #56 because I was struck by the similarity to Magnus #12.
