Completely agree. I'm hoping after Evans' upcoming arc they pull Cafu back.Donovan wrote:Donovan wrote:I'll adjust this statement to say that Cafu is by far the closest - rereading the last two issues he's absolutely firing on all cylinders here.

Re: December 2015 Sales Discussion
Those Imperium numbers are sad especially considering the amazing quality of the book.
If he were still writing for comicvine, right about now would be the time Gregg Katzman would be making an article about Imperium. That guy was awesome at spreading the good word of Valiant.

Re: Basic Reading List
Nice. We have something similar posted over on the Valiant subreddit at https://www.reddit.com/r/valiant/wiki/readingorder . Yours is a great list for looking at all of an individual title, where the Reddit list is split up a lot more with an eye towards approximate order published for the whole ...

Seeing as how Clay Mann was just announced on the new Poison Ivy over on DC, I'm wondering is this the last we see of him for a while. Also wondering how this fits in with the exclusive contract he signed back in 2014.

Re: BOD: The Fall of Harbinger - Discussion
I loved it. Dysart outdid even his work on Harbinger. There's lots of emotions - humor, sadness, hope. There's a sense of pride in the accomplishments of the Renegades. Resiliency. Even the ending isn't truly an ending, but a possibility. This book was far more hopeful than the other Fall Ofs and ...

Man, he's an African-Russian whose government sent out to die for science at the apex of Western power in the mid-20th century, and who lost his ability to tell time from space because he was overwhelmed by a new conscoiusness given to him by a sentience without body or politics, and his origin ...

Re: Basic Reading List
Thanks for putting this together :thumb: It occurs to me every time I organize my new Valiant comics that it will be a bit tricky to figure out reading order down the road based on the number of titles and the way the story arcs are set up.
Honestly, it probably is not much worse than say ...

Re: Divinity #4
As I see it, there really are only two main choice for dealing with bad guys or entities too dangerous to be on the loose: they either have to be contained somehow or eliminated, which is a nice way to say "murdered". What is eerily similar between Divinity and Malgam is that both are isolated by ...

Re: Why is Harbinger/Imperium so 'awesome'?
I appreciate the fact that Dysart doesn't treat us, the readers, like idiots. He doesn't have a talking head flat out tell us 'Faith is the heart and soul' or 'Harada is satan'. We know Faith is incredible because her attitude and joy are so infectious they bleed out of the pages. Harada does evil ...

Re: Imperium #2 Discussion
I did a review for Valiant Central and mentioned the recreation of the U.N. security chamber mural in the background of the panel with Darpan and Kiki. It's the phoenix rising from ashes, and the representation of the world rebuilding after WWII. That's what's happening again - a world ...

Enjoyable one shot issue, which kept me interested throughout. I took Ninjak's mood to be one of missing the adrenaline rush that comes with Unity missions rather missing the other members per se?

Re: Basic Reading List
Great job of listing all the TPBs. I tend to mostly read the collections so this is useful. Is Harbinger: Bleeding Monk in any of the TPBs?
Thank you and nice catch. It's included in the Harbinger Omegas TPB so I'll definitely fix that.
If anyone else picks up anything missing or some needed ...

Basic Reading List
Hey everyone,
Over on the CBR forum someone asked for a reading list for Valiant and I made one up based off of wikipedia, amazon, and Valiant's main website. It's nothing fancy and pretty basic. From what I've seen, most of you don't need this and have more knowledge than I do. So I would be most ...

I have a question, does it seem like Harada doesn't have enough psiots? I was under the impression that he had several facilities worth. Or maybe he has different teams handling other objectives around the world.

I thought it had to do with the way Cronus healed her. The way she was drawn by Evans made her seem younger looking than the first time he illustrated her.Manaf82 wrote:I loved this issue other than the fact that Ingrid looks like a hot 20 year old girl..Getting burned seems to have done wonders for her skin..

Re: Harbinger #25
This was a great issue and I enjoyed the extra stories.
I used to like Kris a lot but now pretty much done with her. Also I'm wondering whether Harada and Peter actually healed or if it's just a projection. I know they can both heal faster than normal people but the damage was huge last issue.
