In Bloodshot 5 and 6 I think (off the top of my head so look into it), in the 90's Gilad arbitrates between Bloodshot and the mafia and in the future Gilad is involved in getting the retired Rai back from the Malev he/she Emperor with the Rai of the future force.

I think everyone has made a valid point. But there have been some trends that are successful inspite of the marks against them. It's easy to take the worst of a character and say it's not for kids. Well as I previously stated. I don't have the final issue of MRF so I'm going on what's been stated here. If Giffen did indeed give Takashi his dad's powers I'd applaud that. I think Valiant treated my favorite Rai pretty horribly. I know being a super hero is tough but Rai had the toughest breaks ...

Can anyone tell me what was going on with Takashi Nakadai at the end of the Magnus series? I don't have all those issues. I just have an issue where he is changing white skin and Rai spot.

For Rai we can get a back story on another Rai, or even Grandmother. Something really interesting can be done with the Rai that was left in the lost land working for the Mothergod, maybe set down some groundwork for the return of the Valiant U.

whoever VIP was/is I don't think they'll ever want their identities revealed, I mean with such a blantant attempt at stealing fans of loved characters would anyone ever want to support anything they did in the future?

If the new Valiant can't get the rights to Solar Man of the Atom would you guys still want them to continue Phil Seleski as someone else, maybe Destroyer or a completely new and different alter ego?

See that's the whole issue. It should be ready at this point. I am not concerned for Scud figures. If they are going to make Solar/Magnus and Turok 6 inch figures in 3 years, where as another company can produce them in 1 year, I would like to know why it takes them sooo long.

Valiant may not own Solar, but they could market a Phil Seleski/Destroyer couldn't they? Sure he's not as cool as Solar, but he's still Phil Seleski.

as far as Scud in concerned, I'm not a 100% but I don't think they've even gotten to the stage of placing orders to gauge interest.

Technically though if they wanted couldn't they release figures with new names? I mean we can get Bloodshot under Rising Spirit, some of the Harbinger kids w/their character names, Pete Stanchek, sure not as exciting as if they could be marketed w/their famous names, but when it comes to figures ...

Shocker Toys has the rights to make the figure. They have the prototype, have had it for quite some time. No figure. no release date. No sales. If you do a search on the net you'll find an interview where even the creator is frustated and has voiced his concern as to when this will ever happen.
