Re: VEI has released 300 unique issues!
Have the sales of all of VEI issues to date surpassed the sale of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter (1993) #1 yet? I'll bet they have or are getting awfully close.

Re: Valiant Versus the Big 2 Reboots
DC seems to have been in multi-universe limbo for a decade now and may finally come to a head with its Convergence event this year. Marvel has announced the end of its universe and appears to be bringing characters from various universes into what they are calling the largest cross-over event in ...

Re: True Origins Of Valiant's Heroes?
For Bloodshot, he is really a lot like Wolverine with the healing factor and the Weapon X type of origin.
For X-O, I have always seen him as an amalgam of the Avengers Big 3. Thor for the time period where he came from, Iron Man for the armor and his being a CEO of a corporation in VH1, and Cap ...

Just thinking about thee 2nd 3rd 4th prints of valiant.
Was in my head about SAGA comic series ~ quite successful, with print run INCREASING each issue after issue 1 untill it leveled off.
Valiant books usually drop after the 1st issue, so I wonder the nessesity of 2nd 3rd 4th Prints. Surely these ...

I suspect December will be a bottom for Valiant as far as unit sales (excluding the months they were first ramping up their titles) and they will start climbing in January with the Valiant Next stuff. I've got news for ya, the second printings are printed right alongside the first. It's purely a marketing thing.
So you are saying that there is a 2nd printing of every Valiant comic? Where did you hear that? I'm sure if it was true, some unreleased second prints would get out somehow.

This LCS ordered heavy on the early VEI titles, but they also did the same for DC 52, Marvel Now, etc. I saw that ...

Re: September 2014 Sales Discussion
I'm wondering if there are other reasons for the drop in numbers this past month. Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't DC pretty much swamped the market with their multiple weekly series and one shots for Future's End? I would think it fairly reasonable that dollars normally floated Valiant's way ...

wasn't it stated once that Valiants literally doing better than they originally expected.

Re: VALIANT COMICS 2nd, 3rd, 4th (etc) Print Releases
Some comic companies are printing the 2nd and 3rd prints along with the first prints instead of overprinting the 1st print. It's part of their marketing strategy.StarBrand wrote:X-O Manowar has gone back to the printer 9 times, all other titles have gone back for a combined 16 times as of now.
