it's official Valiant
Its official after 25yrs of buying marvel comics (30-35 titles a month) I told my lcs to cancel all marvel titles in flavor of Valiant variants (already buying the 9 monthly). He was shocked and upset, he doesn't purchase many valiant books 5 each title so wasn't happy when I wanted the 1in 20 or 1in 25, was told to buy it less where. Now valiant I need more monthlys to keep me busy
any one know where to buy the variants at a decent price.

DCBS is all advanced orders. I'd check with Paradise about back issue variants first. Mile High usually has almost everything, but I don't love doing business with them.p-s manowar wrote:Thanks, are they all advance orders. Looking for variant back issues as well

[except for the part about being told to go elsewhere with your money... looks like you were spending upwards of $120 a month on Marvel, there. The guy would rather lose your $ than take a chance on extra copies of Valiants?

You should check out our auctions, we have a lot of valiant variants on ebay. Do not buy there, just check them out and send me a pm with a list, I will prob. do better, depending on how many you get.p-s manowar wrote:Thanks, are they all advance orders. Looking for variant back issues as well

we also do subscriptions for a lot of members here, but at this time I can not promise all variants, too many people already doing it.

Re: it's official Valiant
But, remember, it's not a guarantee with DCBS that you will get a variant if you order one from them. They also, have the same problem your comic shop has with having to order X number of copies to get the variants. I know I've missed variants (not Valiant variants) in the past because of this.BugsySig wrote:You can try DCBS.p-s manowar wrote:Its official after 25yrs of buying marvel comics (30-35 titles a month) I told my lcs to cancel all marvel titles in flavor of Valiant variants (already buying the 9 monthly). And here I thought I was the only one to completely drop my Marvel & DC books for Valiant. I really hope they continue for a very long time.

You may also want to talk to ed about subscriptions. His service was far better than my LCS and even with shipping he's cheaper.paradise wrote:You should check out our auctions, we have a lot of valiant variants on ebay.
