I was gonna go in November but decided to take the family to Florida for a week right about that time.
I have my sites set on the Javitz in early Feb. The last couple of times I've been to the National the rooms were pretty expensive all over the city as it is the first real weekend of the Christmas shopping season and all the stuff is set up for people to see, skating rinks, rock center, ect.
February will be much more reasonable, but, it will be cold.

Are you still doing that thing you posted about before? Something about a contest to have lunch with Shooter? Let me see if I can find the old thread.svair wrote:Sorry Guys...

Yep, after seeing him in action last year and all the bull he had to put up with from the promoter, it looked pretty tiring (if not downright aggravating).xodacia81 wrote:Rest up. Sounds to me like you've gone above and beyond with these conventions.svair wrote:Sorry Guys...

Well, if there's not going to be anything Valiant related officially (other than a bunch of guys going to the show) and apparently no underground comix guests this time, I probably won't be going to NY this time. Not sure if I would have been able to afford it, anyway.

KARAOKE???
Seriously, you need one of us old-timers to show you that Tiki bar we all sat at one Saturday night in 2006.

I still can't believe that was almost three years ago.....

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
