I tried to make the compass chunkier and give it a 70's look. Think I'll leave the redesigns to KC and cinlach. My atrocious handwriting shows too.

Just received the Shaowman/Batman piece from Stu.

The scan doesn't even remotely do it justice.

Oh, and just to keep the fan art aspect going - here's a small piece I just did for the Fan Art Challenge.

For the concept image, I had started with a picture of Magnus ripping the creation matrix out of Prime's chest - but I didn't like the size difference between Magnus and Prime. I went with Magnus punching Megatron a la the cover to Magnus #7/Rai #3, as I've always felt that Megatron should be just somewhat larger than human (he's a GUN, for crying out loud)! My first draft was horrid - scribbled in ink while I was on the phoen here at work, I might be convinced to scan it some day just to show you how horrid I am when I'm not really, really concentrating on what I'm doing.

These are medium weight pencils on the copy paper here at work - I'd liked to have spent more time on this, but this is possibly the best result of my meager talents. I'm not too crazy about the placement of Megatron's right leg and arm, but I feel it conveys the point. I may re-do this at a later date when I have more time to devote to shading and proportion.
