My shop is 18 miles away and doesn't carry Valiant automatically...
Wish I could travel like Rai to a comic book store in America...

Yes, these are the artificial companions with the blue circle on the forehead that are given to each citizen so as to keep the population numbers down. Sex and companionship without procreation.

And for completeness, "positronic" is a termed coined by Isaac Asimov to describe the artificial brains of the robots that inhabit his titles. You'll note they also refer offhandedly to the three rules of robotics:

1) A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2) A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3) A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

He could be artificial or PT

but I don't think that's a mechanical arm - Its the same design/fabric as the rest of his shirt. Rai cuts open the shirt and his abdomen which looks like flesh. Which might not necessarily mean he is human - PT's might have flesh and bleed like humans.

but I don't think that's a mechanical arm - Its the same design/fabric as the rest of his shirt. Rai cuts open the shirt and his abdomen which looks like flesh. Which might not necessarily mean he is human - PT's might have flesh and bleed like humans.

And arguing against myself, Rai might have been able to sense he could control him if he were a robot, much as he stated Spylocke must be human because he couldn't sense robotics.
