I can tell you that the patches are even cooler in person, if that is possible. These things are SWEET!

I need to get a jacket for my patch.

Hey everyone,

I will be sending out the emails today for those that got one (or two) of the patches available through the forums, so look for that soon. For those that were not able to snag one of them in time or for those that would like a second one- I am hoping that we may be able to make another smaller run of them perhaps, so don't despair too much!

That could be the next one.

Ready for some great news???

Dinesh has said that he is willing to match the number of trades that we are able to buy with the patch sales for now, so basically every patch sold will get not 1 but 2 Harbinger trades into libraries! How awesome is that! We also got the go ahead to make some more patches!

We will do some more of the same color first for those who were unable to get one yet - I think that there were about ten people already on the wait-list! So maybe 25 of the original color and 25 of a new? Perhaps I can get Jay to do some mock-ups to post on here first...

I was also thinking that maybe a red variant with a gold bird instead of silver (like the senior students have) might look pretty cool but I would love to hear what you guys would be interested in. I asked about possibly doing some H.A.R.D. Corps patches too and I'll let you know when I hear back on that (I can only imagine the awesome costumes that people could make with those!)

Anyways, we have received most of the payments now and I will be sending all of the first round off tomorrow. Those who bought them should be seeing them within 5-10 business days.

I will be placing the book order this week too and then once I get them, and get them stamped - library road-trip time :)

Oh yeah, and I am working on getting the info about how we made our jackets to you guys too- We've got so many compliments on them and I really don't want it to be a secret or anything. If we could have a ton of people with them at a con that would be so awesome! Don't let me forget to post about this!

That's awesome Sanders, I would definitely get a second in red, one suggestion though- I think black and red would look better than gold and red.

It would be the opposite of the Harbinger patch, it would be the Eggbreaker patch :)

As for HARD Corps...Hell Yeah :thumb:

Another possible idea... maybe a Harbinger patch with gold over blue or vice-versa (Shanhara colors) to support getting some of the X-O trade #1s?

Since the #1s are only 9.99 I would love to get some of each out there, but the X-O triangle icon may not make as good of a patch. Or would it? I believe that Livewire's is gold over red which I think would be totally cool.

some ideas:
Gold over red = Kodenbushi (livewire's rank)
Silver over gray = Aonisaibushi (Ion's rank)

+ other one's seen in the comic--
silver over green (there are about three different shades of it in the cafeteria fight scene)
silver over orange
silver over purple
blue over white (Hidden Moon's Sensei rank)
blue over black (torque's hat)

If you want to promote X-O you could do the Manowar class triangle patch as seen on the suit :)

Totally! I think that it is an awesome idea which is why I made sure to ask about it :thumb:

Right now I am talking to my LCS to see the price on books in bulk. As soon as we get this first round out to libraries we would be happy to do whatever patches we are able to :)
