You probably could have told the seller you don't want the junk to save on shipping.

Sometimes it is not a wise idea to point out the "junk" to a seller when you find a jewel amidst the pile of stuff.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

He might have found that there were four of those Unity Reds in there and the auction was only for three of them...

Yep. I thought about emailing him but seeing how he is a really low feedback seller I didn't want to chance it.

Exactly, or claimed that he mistakenly listed red when it should have said blue (he only shows a stock photo of the Turok #1 after all). He then gives you you're money back, takes a neg and re-lists the reds individually some other time.

Okay, the fourth red was an added bonus on a great deal already - but like a similar deal that occurred with a different member - the seller listed the bin well below the his stated book value - I'm not sure what book value the seller was soliciting information from, but apparently it must have had the unity reds at something respectable. He either didn't bother to check the price of the what recent sales of each book were (hence the turok#1 in the title) or didn't care to list individually - either way, his own stupidity.

In the seller's defense, he could have picked up a brand spankin' new Overstreet
and concluded that Unity 0 Red was worth $3 at best...
since that's what the clueless company lists it for. :|

Yes, but I thought it was funny that you called him that because of the "red" books,
therefore, he's a "bastared".

I guess Greg really has to "get around" the board. I think if he just threw in an emoticon every now and again he'd be up there with ZWH and Dawg. :D
