well he already put the bin in place, right? What's he gonna do at that point?Daniel Jackson wrote:Sometimes it is not a wise idea to point out the "junk" to a seller when you find a jewel amidst the pile of stuff.GGSAE wrote:You probably could have told the seller you don't want the junk to save on shipping.

He might have found that there were four of those Unity Reds in there and the auction was only for three of them...GGSAE wrote:well he already put the bin in place, right? Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Yep. I thought about emailing him but seeing how he is a really low feedback seller I didn't want to chance it.slym2none wrote:He might have found that there were four of those Unity Reds in there and the auction was only for three of them...GGSAE wrote:well he already put the bin in place, right? Exactly, or claimed that he mistakenly listed red when it should have said blue (he only shows a stock photo of the Turok #1 after all). He then gives you you're money back, takes a neg and re-lists the reds individually some other time.slym2none wrote:He might have found that there were four of those Unity Reds in there and the auction was only for three of them...GGSAE wrote:well he already put the bin in place, right? Okay, the fourth red was an added bonus on a great deal already - but like a similar deal that occurred with a different member - the seller listed the bin well below the his stated book value - I'm not sure what book value the seller was soliciting information from, but apparently it must have had the unity reds at something respectable. He either didn't bother to check the price of the what recent sales of each book were (hence the turok#1 in the title) or didn't care to list individually - either way, his own stupidity.Daniel Jackson wrote:Exactly, or claimed that he mistakenly listed red when it should have said blue (he only shows a stock photo of the Turok #1 after all). Yes, but I thought it was funny that you called him that because of the "red" books,Chuck wrote:greg wrote:I thought I was the basta-red?Chuck wrote:BASTARED![]()

(i tried to spell B A S T A R D abunch of ways without getting censored: with 2 r's and then with 2 d's when I could have just spelled it like this:
B A S T A R D![]()
)
therefore, he's a "bastared".

I guess Greg really has to "get around" the board. I think if he just threw in an emoticon every now and again he'd be up there with ZWH and Dawg.

It's Solar... Don't call him Dr. Phil!
