Yes, I was tempted by the Rai TPB 9.9 as well, but it would make the rest of my 9.8 collection jealous.

Seriously, I just don't think it's worth the extra money. In the $60 range I would think differently.

Another 9.4 or lower sells, as a Magnus 1 in CGC 9.4 gets snapped up at 42.40 incl shipping. Is this a trend? I'm not sure, but it seems some collectors with limited funds are seeking Valiant slabs in less than 9.6.

With most dealers figuring it's not worth slabbing this book, perhaps they haven't been slabbing them. Then someone who wants one comes along and there's only one on eBay, and they hit the BIN. I guess.
