What video game are you currently playing?

I'm playing Super Mario for wii. Getting the last coin on 7-4 is killing me. I've tired over 50 times and I can't get it. Uggh!

Just finished Bioshock 2, very good follow up to the original. The story may not have been as immersing as the first, but I still enjoyed it. The weapon choices are better in this one and I like how you can use your powers and guns at the same time. The weapon I liked the most was the spear gun. You could literally take out most enemies with one shot from across the room. I ended up using it and the telekinesis most of the time.

I'm considering downloading the Minerva's Den add on. Anyone played it yet?

10 days or so ago, I got an email from MS about "deals" on XBLA. One of the games was Serious Sam HD TSE"

Even at 400 MS points, I just don't pull the trigger anymore. C'mon five bucks is still five bucks. I got burned with that crappy Castle Crashers game.

Played through the demo of SS and it's a lot of fun. I like it because it's not like some of those first-person shooters where you're lost in endless mazes. It's kinda like the original Turok of the N64, but with slightly better graphics.

Originally at 1200 MS points and I got it at 400. Not a bad buy.

Playing Fallout 3 now. I think this is most involved game I’ve ever played. The territory you have to cover is truly mind-boggling. Weapons take damage and have to be repaired, constantly looking around for medicine and places to sleep, it really is a different kind of gaming experience. Hard to believe they fit all of this on one disc.

I was almost ready to quit playing by the second day, just because of the amount of tedious walking around looking for stuff to level up with (plus getting killed every two minutes...). Once you get past those first boring areas and start marking more and more locations on your map, you start to appreciate the level of detail that went into this game.

Definitely going to take awhile to finish this one.

Picked up Raskulls for some multiplayer mayhem from Xbox Live, great fun. A kind of mix up of Mario, Dig Dug and Mario Kart. A little limited on maps if anything.

This is really an epic game, you should pick up where you left off and try and to finish it sometime.

Good luck. I've done the same thing and just can't get through the first one. It's too dated and has a bad combat sytem. I keep telling myself I should just forget it and move on to 2 but I can't bring myself to do it.

It's not a bad game. The story and the universe it's set in are ace. I just started playing it a few months back and there were just alot of things to play that were newer and doing what Mass Effect did, but better because they were developing on it.

It's not a bad game. The story and the universe it's set in are ace. I just started playing it a few months back and there were just alot of things to play that were newer and doing what Mass Effect did, but better because they were developing on it.

I bought the Plat version with the extra DL content, so hopefully it will be a nice improvement in the areas that it was lacking in before.

I was looking through my collection last night and one caught my eye. Star Trek Armada 1. It's an oldie but a goodie. Great storyline and four playable factions. Federation, Klingon, Romulan, and Borg.

One of my favorite things to do against comps in multiplayer is let loose my inner Borg and assimilate everything in site.

Another is to play Klingons or Romulans and cloak my entire force and place it into the enemy and click attack on something then watch the havoc.

Played a couple of dogs this week ... Knights Contract on PS3 and Mario Sports Mix on Wii. Sheesh.

Also played some Plants Vs. Zombies on PSN. Nice!

Been playing Prince of Persia: Warrior Within on and off for a while but am going to hit it hard so I can play Yakuza 2 which I just picked up for a sweet price. I also have to dig out my PSX memory card so I can have a proper go at Koudelka which I finally managed to replace after the best part of a decade. I have good times ahead of me.

I have never had much 'good' to say about the first version. That might have changed after I am now much better at playing the combat system but I will not be be going that far back to play it. Yeah, getting used to a new style of combat or controller scheme can be frustrating. There are quite a few games that I came close to quitting after not initially understanding or liking the way it was set up. Especially games that are very intricate and have lots for you to manage. Makes for a slow pace for a good portion of the game.

I kept getting graphic glitches in ME1 and I sat there waiting for the landscape to catch up to the game and I was constantly getting waxed by the bad guys which led to frustration... then when ME2 came out with a better combat system (in game), it just felt like the thing to do. As it is, I have purchased every bit of DLC and extra uniforms etc for the game. I cannot wait to find out what ME3 will offer.

I've been noticing a few background glitches like that in Fallout 3 as well, but it never slowed the characters down. The fighting has always been pretty smooth.

Being playing Fallout 3. Didn't realise how little of this game I'd played until I went back to it. Absolutely ace game, getting me real tempted to get New Vegas when I finish this.

Also downloaded Pac-Man (New Special Edition thing) for 400 points. It's a great game for a bash. My only complaint is that the achievements are ridiculously easy to get. On my first turn I got 4! And 7 within 20 mins.

I've maxed out my hp for leveling up on Fallout 3 (on 20) and I'm only a little over halfway done with everything. I purchased the Broken Steel add-on and one of the nice perks is it gives you 10 more level ups (and you can use them while still playing the main game).

Score. I'm only just getting to the point where I feel comfortable facing off against super mutants and the like. Got my repair up to a reasonable enough level to keep my equipment good and shortly ago found a massive enough stash of ammo to last me a while. The ammo shortages are difficult to deal with!

I'd forgot about the add-ons for this one, will check them out. I'm on my way to Vault 112 looking for Daddy again... dude has got some serious Daddy issues.
