I agree, I think I got $50 for the second print of #2 a few months ago.400yrs wrote:I just sold a TWD 33 2nd print for $29.95 plus shipping. It's the blue cover.
I've noticed color cover variants as well as cover variants of TWD do well a few years down the line.
For that reason, I snatched up a few more TWD #50 2nd print variants. I sold a few of these in the past for $10. Currently, there are a few still on ebay for $2.99.
The pattern with these TWD color and cover variants seems to be that they are common at first and then they are damn near impossible to find.
TWD 33 is one of my favorite issues anyway. I stocked up on the first print, but the second print is the toughie to find.

The next book to keep an eye on is Infinite Vacation. It came out this week and is getting good reviews. It's the first new book by Nick Spencer after Morning Glories. #1 is going to a second print.
Word of caution - I think this is scheduled to be a mini.
I don't have my copy yet to read it so I can't say if it's a book I will multiple up on.

I think you are confusing the 2nd printing with the Vengeance of Bane II: The Redemption book, which looks similar, but has a green background. According to Mile High, there is a 2nd and 3rd printing of the first Vengeance of Bane book and the way to tell the difference is the later printings have the roman numerals (II and III) on the cover.superman-prime wrote:tiem to sell a few they were a 4 doller book a few weeks ago
there is 2 prints so be careful to those buying these
the red background is the original I beleave
