I've noticed color cover variants as well as cover variants of TWD do well a few years down the line.

For that reason, I snatched up a few more TWD #50 2nd print variants. I sold a few of these in the past for $10. Currently, there are a few still on ebay for $2.99.

The pattern with these TWD color and cover variants seems to be that they are common at first and then they are damn near impossible to find.

TWD 33 is one of my favorite issues anyway. I stocked up on the first print, but the second print is the toughie to find.
I agree, I think I got $50 for the second print of #2 a few months ago.

Something is up with the market for Chew. I haven't done enough research yet to make a guess as to why.

#1 is going $200+. Runs for $275-300.

At $200+ I'm thinking about selling my extra copy of #1. I keep saying it can't go higher, but it does. :?

This book has to have a ceiling. It's going to be 60 issues long. Being finite has to cap the potential value somewhere.

The next book to keep an eye on is Infinite Vacation. It came out this week and is getting good reviews. It's the first new book by Nick Spencer after Morning Glories. #1 is going to a second print.

Word of caution - I think this is scheduled to be a mini.

I don't have my copy yet to read it so I can't say if it's a book I will multiple up on.

Hmm I left that on the shelf. Local shop had absolutely tons of them. Seemed a bit weird too.

I think they announced that there is going to be a Tv series of the book by the same people who are working on Walking Dead.

Which book? Albedo? I know I've heard that some of the gang involved with WD are working on a show based on CHEW.

Hmm. I heard that Stephen Hopkins, a former producer and director on 24-among many other things-was involved. Maybe it never got past the discussion, early development stage.

Update on Infinite Vacation #1 - my shops are all sold out of it. Going for a bit on ebay.

p.s. I have yet to read it. Should be getting my copy in 2-3 weeks.

- disclaimer - speculation is dumB. Do it only if you love the book.

I think you are confusing the 2nd printing with the Vengeance of Bane II: The Redemption book, which looks similar, but has a green background. According to Mile High, there is a 2nd and 3rd printing of the first Vengeance of Bane book and the way to tell the difference is the later printings have the roman numerals (II and III) on the cover.

Wow, haven’t seen any demand for Bane since Nightfall. I wonder if we will see interest in Nightfall and the pre-Nightfall books too...
