Not sure if this is a great deal or not but I was well chuffed to get these 3 for £1 a piece:

Superman Annual 11

Superman 423

Action Comics 583

All 3 Alan Moore issues.

I took it out of the board and bag....I think I'll submit this to CGC....no white on spine, no dings on corners, look as if it has never been touched/opened. VERY HAPPY with this one.

Finally picked up the Amazing Spider-man 528 Spider-ham Sketch Variant.
I wouldnt by this stuff for myself unless it came in really cheap in a collection and even then i say no if we can sell it for a few quid, but as my wife was wondering what to get for me, i let her grab it as X-mas gift for me.

I dont care about CGC or 9.8 to be fair, it just happened to be a CGC, so 9.4 is fine for me.
The price is cheaper than i have seen it anywhere in the UK too, so win win win.

Officially one of hoard books alongside the standard variant, though not sure how many of these ill pick up each year at £25 each :o

I picked up a run off ebay of Shadowman V2 1-9 and 11-20 for $21 shipped, no big deal until I recived them. It had #16 Glow in the Dark and #1 RRC. The glow was not in mint condition but what do you expect. Still a good deal. :thumb:

I just scored a bagged Unity 2000 #2, Ironman/X-O, and Unity the Lost Chapter all from my LCS's 3/$1 bin. On top of it all I received a %10 discount.

Very nice. That glow is a very tough book to find in any condition.

Nice score.

Hard to find one that's not damaged in some way, especially spine creases.

Probably no one else but me would think it's a good deal, but...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0300354118

Zoom Suit #1 Film Festival Edition, these were supposedly limited to 100 copies, not sure how true that is, but I'm always on the lookout for a cheap copy. Here's a copy listed on eBay for quite a bit more:

For an unslabbed VF copy you might be more alone. This was smoking. Congrats.
