Today, for 14 dollars, I got an unopened copy of the HC edition of Green Arrow: Archer's Quest. The prices for these have been astronomical. Check out the links below to see what I mean. I recently saw one, opened, for over 100 dollars, although there is one below for just a hair under that.

I couldn't resist it...opened it up and read it. I had to decide if I would, but after thinking abut the slight tear-it was still unopened-I was like "what the hell, it's only a collection"...and so I read it. Glad I did. Very nice story indeed. Meltzer is an excellent writer.sanman wrote:Nicexodacia81 wrote:Today, for 14 dollars, I got an unopened copy of the HC edition of Green Arrow: Archer's Quest. This copy has only a $24 BIN price. Are there different printings? Or is there another reason for the difference in asking prices?xodacia81 wrote:Today, for 14 dollars, I got an unopened copy of the HC edition of Green Arrow: Archer's Quest. These were the highest I could find at the time. However, I have seen them go for much more. It appears to be a very low run collection and to find it wrapped was a nice bonus. To get it so cheap was just a great deal. Consider that the price online, with shipping, usually starts at just over 30 dollars and that is for opened ones...and you get why I was pleased. Maybe I should have mentioned how I got the first 15 issues of Black Canary/Green Arrow(including The Wedding Special) for 6 bucks.iggy101us wrote:This copy has only a $24 BIN price. Sweet! That's one of the ones I know I need.
My best deal of late is getting rid of 3 long boxes of 90s Image and Marvel stuff at my garage sale for free. Glad I don't have to ship them anywhere or lug them around anywhere. I'm in the mood to do another huge sweep soon. Bye-bye Ticks, Thors, Caps, etc.

It's nice to thin out some of the junk books, isn't it? I put out a long box full for 50 cents each or 3/$1 on a yard sale...almost nobody looked at them. Finally, some guy came along and offered $40 for the works --- I was thrilled to get rid of 'em.400yrs wrote:Sweet! That's one of the ones I know I need.
