Did the signed X-O database come with a sleeve?
Hey guys,,
I finally got myself a copy of this book and was wondering if it came in a sleeve or not. I know its not a pure VVSS book, so I wasn't sure.
Mine didn't have a sleeve obviously but I did get the Diamond COA.
Thanks!

I got it on ebay for $10 which I thought was decent, esp with the COA.
As for the COA, I got the one on the left. Although now that I know there are two versions, its gonna drive the completionist in me crazy!

The Bloodshot #6 does come with a unique sleeve though.

Nice to know about Bloodshot #6, thanks. Now to just track down a copy. Of course a few years ago I remember seeing it all the time heh.

Compared to some of the others, BS #6 should still be relatively easy to find.evophile wrote:Thanks!iggy101us wrote:Nice grab.evophile wrote:Thanks for the replies guys!

The Valiant logo is bigger compared to the Valiant logo compared to the other VVSS's. Also the corners of the mylars are rounded at the bottom.ckb wrote:What unique sleeve are we talking about? The mylars with the Valiant Logo on the flap?

Bloodshot #6 red and gold signed by Don Perlin, Kevin VanHook. There are no COAs and the comics are not embossed. This one signed in red I have below was given out and personally hand signed on the cover by artist Don Perlin and writer Kevin Van Hook at the May 2-5 1993 Capital City Sales Conference. This was acquired from a Gold Member attendee. It comes in a clear acrylic comic book holder with the Valiant name and logo embossed on the upper middle back of holder. This mylar is different from the other Valiant mylars in that the corners are rounded and the logo is clear and bigger (see close-up comparison below - the top 2 are from the Bloodshot #6 VVSS mylar). I am not sure of the origin (or validity) of the gold and silver versions.
