Yup. He went through the book and was cool about learning what the coupon really was. :)

its too bad that the girlfriend is selling the comic. She is mocking his collection and will destroy his individuality before long. The boyfriend just doesnt understand the pain he will encounter in this ill-advised endeavor. She will destroy him and the tragic part is that he knows it will happen but is not doing anything to stop it. Shakespear at its best.

Here is the description in case the auction page gets closed:

"I am selling my boyfriends old comic book collection as we prepare for a cross country move (no sense in carting them around if he's done with them!) I don't know a lot about comics, so please no complicated questions! The item is as shown. Its been sitting in a box (not exposed to light or extreme conditions) for years, and is in plastic. I will ship everything USPS Parcel Post with delivery confirmation. I will combine shipping so that each additional comic after the first is $1.00 extra. Domestic Shipping ONLY!"

I know. Also, if the bf wanted to sell them then he would list them. but, nope, i bet he doesnt want to sell them so she is taking matters into her own hands. Doom is lurking...

Maybe their motto is "Welcome to Nutt-n-Butt Comics, please bend over at the counter."
