VEI Reborn wrote:Well I finally think I have something to talk about in this thread! I went to a semi local comic shop today [have put it off since I started collecting in August]. Went through all their boxes of sticker priced items. Found two Shadowman V.2 #1 no price variants in Fine condition. I was going to pick them up but they wanted $3 a piece. I have a few of them so I passed.
After 30 minutes of looking through everything I found a Ninjak Newsstand I needed. I was happy with that and was going to leave when I found a .25 bin. I have read so many stories about people finding cool stuff in them. I spent about 20 minutes and found TONS of Defiant books. If I were to guess, I would say 150+ of them. Im not too keen on these so I didnt pick up any for now but I dont believe any of them were rare [as they had multiples of each].
I eventually found an Armorines #3 so I figured, what the heck, Ill keep looking. Came across 3 MINT X-O #56. Not a rare book, but Im sure they are 9.8 grades. A few minutes later I found Ninjak #1 V.2 painted. Again not all that rare but a great find for .25. After about another 15 minutes [there were 6 long boxes of .25 comics] I found my gems!! I found two, Shadowman V.3 #6 issues! Id grade them 9.4s. All in all I paid $5 for everything and walked out a happy camper![]()
I have about 4-5 more semi local shops and Im going to check them all out this week. I never thought Id have such good luck so I might have used it all, but I will never know unless I look
Great finds bro. Congrats.

Neat little assorted lot. It has several odds and ends in it.
I paid $0.99 plus $5.50 shipping. Total cost to me of $6.49.
I got the package in today and the total postage was $6.67. Poor fellow. He's a solid dude for not charging me extra over what he quoted.
