Word for word, his writing is fine. However, when he puts the words together in a story, I have no clue what the hell the story is about.Jay Tomio wrote: Word for word Morrison's doing some damn fine writing.

I didn't read the Crisis stuff, but RIP was not good for me. I like mysteries too, but I need to be able to tell what the heck is even happening in the panels. To that end, the art did not help in RIP.Jay Tomio wrote:I've never had difficulty following once going, on. Indeed the point of a mystery is exactly that. That's just me.
Acid would help when reading this stuff. That's for sure.
I don't usually buy monthly new books (Cost Prohibitive), but was able to snag at my LCS a bunch of the current JSA series(Gog Storyline) and the Current GL & GLC for a $1 a piece and man I'm tempted to get back into monthly titles again by these books. Really good stuff IMHO
Possible Spoiler Alert Although I'm sure They're old Questions
Quick question and maybe a spoiler alert also but when were Kilowog and most of the current GLC brought back to life and how? I'm either just fogetting when this happened (I Remember Hal Jordan Killing Kiliwog) or didn't read when they were brought back. How and what issues did Superman from Kingdom Come Earth come into JSA Earth along with Gog?

KC Superman came back about six or seven issues ago in JSA.

I think that John's victory is creating an event that all GL fans - no matter who they prefer - have stakes in and adding fans. Rebirth is the beginning of that bridge, that consolidation, of the divergent fan base split between Hal, Kyle and even Stewart and Guy. In many ways it's a microcosm of what Johns has been able to do in every title he touches.
It's IMHO the bible to all GL after it and nicely done.

I may have to find this and read it. I haven't read GL since about 98 or 99. I liked ALL the various Green Lanterns. Always found it a really cool concept. This has piqued my interest.Jay Tomio wrote:I'm not sure that it's essential in any way to enjoy The Sinestro Corps/War stuff, but it would definitely add to the enjoyment IMHO.
