Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I thought this was a pretty good deal:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0270538339

Fatale #5 signed by Shooter with COA, CGC graded 9.6 for $9.99, shipping was $8, split between two books, so let's says $14 shipped. The COA was not in the slab, but was bagged separately.

Good deal. Price is less than cost of slabbing.

I sent the guy a question asking for the cover price on the Visitor Vs. Valiant Universe. He said it was $2.50. He didn't say if it was both that had that cover price. The low bid when I left this morning was $0.49, that would have been quite a pickup.

So now I play the waiting game...

So I have been trying to find a cheap set of Infinity Gauntlet books or a trade. I know they are all over ebay, but I have been holding out for a cheap set.

Well I finally got one. IG #1-6 $5.50 shipped.

So I get to finally find out why C-lo loves Thanos so much. :thumb:

Several months ago I won an auction for two NM copies of Harbinger 1 and two NM copies of Harbinger 4. I paid a bit over $200. The guy had a complete box of books from back in the day and had been selling them raw at shows and online. He held back the two copies of each that he thought were the best and they were the books in this sale. He had a good eye. All four books were graded 9.8 by CGC

Just got this today. I knew the VvsVU 1&2 were both price variants, but it turns out that all 19 Valiant books in this lot were newstand books. Outside of the Turok with slight tears, the rest are all VF+ or better. :thumb:
