Magnus #1-8, all in high grade with complete card sheets.
Magnus #42-53, again, all in pretty good shape. They had issues before these, but I decided I only wanted the post-Chaos Effect issues.
Ninjak #26 (another copy to add to my small hoard).
Nice rescue job.

Thanks! I was surprised because 95% of the stuff was crap I had picked through several times before. These books were new. The guy that worked at the store mentioned he had just thrown those in there. I think he said his reason was he had just bought a lot of Magnus on eBay to complete his set, so he threw all the books he didn't need in the cheap bins.Chiclo wrote:Nice score, Bro J.Brother J wrote:went to the LCS today, was hoping to pick up a pack of magazine bags and possibly some new books. You would think if he knew enough to collect Magnus, he would have known enough not to throw pre-Unity issues in the cheap box.

I just got this today, the "stains" were all on the outside of the container and wiped right off, but there but there are a few scuff marks on it so I probably will have it reslabbed eventually.Brother J wrote:I guess if it's too nasty you could always reslab.J-Scott-R wrote:Yeah, I was a little cautious about the stains comment also, but for $10.49 I thought it was worth taking a chance on.Brother J wrote:wow, that's dirt cheap. I'm thinking the fact that he listed it as CCG and not CGC might have had something to do with it. He also didn't mention Valiant in the title or description. Also, some might have been wary of the "stains" on it.J-Scott-R wrote:I didn't think I would win this for this but hey, I'll take it.![]()

$8.95 + S&H. I am surprised I am the only bidder. This is very hard to find and I think I saw one a couple of months ago sold for around $35.

Needed a few of these and have seen # 20 for sale at $20 alone so figured this was great deal even with $15 shipping to the UK.

Nice hit.Egomaniac wrote:Picked up Visitior Vs. Valiant Universe #1 and #2 newsstand variants for cover as well as a New Mutants 98 and Supreme 41 for cover.
You saved well over $50.0 on two HTF Vh1 gems and got a steal on 1st Deadpool, which i think is another overpriced book in the same vain as Am Spidey 300.
However we do actually have a copy of New Mutants 98 going on the bay today up for £9.95 10 day auction.
Im sure people are happy to pay that and more, so im happy to sell it at that much regardless of my opinion on what i think its worth

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
