I find it an interesting contrast that Turok finds more of his people - who were technologically neolithic - and they contrast that by Chichak leading a nation of paleolithic neanderthals, who are even more primitive.

Why?

The aliens visited Earth for millions of years, why couldn't Chichak's people had come to worship them?
