From one good doctor to another, I salute you!

I've got some family in Germany (an aunt and two cousins), but I've never been.

It`s a pleasure for me to salute you, Doc! ( good avatar :thumb: )

Are you only interested in Valiant or do you like the old Gold Key numbers too?

3 Persons are a lot of family, you should visit them sometimes. If I had family in the US, I would forget my flying-fear :)

I've been several times ... always enjoyed the trip. It was nice having my brother there to show me around. He married a German girl and lived over there for about 15 years. I even got to play on a football team in a small town in the Eiffel, Neidenbach.

But yeah, that plane trip is a monster. I used to fly in to Amsterdam, since it was much cheaper, and take a train down to Germany.

I just bought my first Gold Key issues last weekend, a Magnus 3 and 6. I'd like to get a Gold Key run of Magnus and Doctor Solar.

It would be nice to visit my family in Germany sometime. I've never been to Europe... :(

There are only a few Gold Key reprints by Valiant that I am aware of:

Original Doctor Solar 1
Original Turok 1
Original Turok 2
Original Magnus 1
Captain Johner and the Aliens 1
Captain Johner and the Aliens 2
I´m missing Original Magnus and the two Captain Johner Numbers. I think the Captain Johner issues are completely unknown here, I´ve never seen them.
"The Aliens" was a series of back-up stories in the old Gold Key Magnus Robot Fighter 4000 AD and featured Captain Johner and his crew and their contact with new alien friends. Eventually, Gold Key collected those stories and released two issues of "The Aliens" and reprinted at least the first issue once. Valiant re-coloured the issues and released them again as "Captain Johner and the Aliens". They are not abundantly available on the backissue market, but can be found for $3 or so per issue if you keep your eyes open.

There are Gold Key reprints from Dark Horse that covers the complete runs of Doctor Solar, Turok, Magnus.

Where can I find Dark Horse reprints of Gold Key Turok?

the reprinted runs are not complete, each book contains only a few issues. Near to complete is doctor solar with three books, there is only one Magnus book and absolutely no Turok.
