x-o 0
my first was x-o 0 all that quasada artwork was impressive at that tiem i still like it to this day
I sure loved the cover to X-O Manowar #0. It was very striking for me at the time and I was very into Quesada which is why I loved his run on Ninjak. Nowadays, I can take him or leave him... I see the cartooniness of his work and I am leaning more towards realistic artiwork. ahhh Neal Adam's art has spoiled me.

i liek that they made a ridiculious amount of xo 0 because i picked up 50 for 10 bucks a while back and i just give them to friends to introduce the valiant universe to other peaple everyone out there is familiar with quasada so they see that name and will read it with openess and most usually get why i like this little world then i loan out half my collection lol

The word "grail" gets thrown around farrrrrrr too much in comics collecting.siren3-4 wrote:I actually think my first VALIANT book was Harbinger 13
Then I went crazy and bought all the back issues from there. . . .
I think my most expensive book was Harby #1 $75.00
I still don't mind that I paid that. It was my grail at the time.
It made me happy just taking it out a looking at it . . . .

Yeah, but if you're talking about Valiant collecting, Harbinger #1 is a reasonable choice.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:The word "grail" gets thrown around farrrrrrr too much in comics collecting.siren3-4 wrote:I think my most expensive book was Harby #1 $75.00

I think the first I remember is Solar 1. I didn't read it when I picked it up for a couple months. Then, I got Magnus somewhere around 3 or 4 and loved it. Probably why Magnus is still my favorite because it was my first. Then, X-O around the first issue. Loved that too. THEN I read the Solar 1 and fell in love with it. After 3 titles I was hooked!!!
