MOST LIKELY Valiant character to get a movie

Not too bad. Manga comics make a great alternative for toilet paper and hold less value too.leonmallett wrote:steverino wrote:No. Manga bad.pauls1688 wrote:i always thought a manga animated x-o would be fantastic like vampier hunter d and a bit of ghost in the shell it would be a smash hit no dout about it.![]()
and maybe a live action eternal warrior series.![]()
is there a casting thread like who would you have play which hero or villan if not maybe we could have something like that eh??![]()
How bad?

That's a gunblade from Final Fantasy 8, and while that picture looks horrid they were amazingly cool in the game (I'm a games geek too, work as a Game Designer, was at Acclaim just before they went under too... Long after the comics had stopped publishing).Rufusharley wrote:I keep seeing this fake gun that's hung on the wall of a LCS near me. The thing is, attached to the barrel of the gun is an obscenely large blade/sword. I've gathered that is from 'Final Fantasy', but i always asociate it with 'manga'.leonmallett wrote:steverino wrote:No. Manga bad.pauls1688 wrote:i always thought a manga animated x-o would be fantastic like vampier hunter d and a bit of ghost in the shell it would be a smash hit no dout about it.![]()

The thing looks absolutly ridiculous! It's like 4 ft. long.
As for Eva Mendes... I mean, Valiant Movies... a full CG Magnus or Rai would be stunning, but I agree with many here in thinking that Shadowman is the most likely candidate.
And a HBO series would be ideal; in fact, a savy TV producer could probably make a very interesting setting of a post Katrina New Orleans (without being exploitative), much like that Shadowman comics pitch that was posted on this board (I forget who by, but it was really cool).
It could play kind of like the Blade TV series with a far more dynamic and conflicted central character and a lot more variance of situation and conflict.
Mekhi Phifer for Jack Boniface. Terry O'Quinn for Darque.

This is nothing - you all should see Cloud's sword from FFVII!

Of course, I thought this was hilarious...

OK, then there's Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga -

Then there is Sanosuke's zanbato...

So, I guess you can see a pattern here.....

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

... and if you mention the Tetsusaiga, might as well bring the Tensaiga into the discussion too.
I hate myself for watching InuYasha.
