Is this correct? several more weeks for the rest of us?
Please clarify.
I have emailed & pm'd Bob, I want to send them over to him and get them asap (I know he's a busy man but this book is starting to feel like an Image book). So far I have not recieved a reply.

SIDE NOTE:
I thought I would post on how the books look at the moment. I know a few people who were up against me in the bidding were planning to CGC the books, it crossed my mind too (albiet very very briefly, the VcVSS is a much cooler road).
#1/40 looks to be the worst condition of the bunch. Its a VF- with bent corners and a few spine stress marks.
#2/40 is a little better but has a top corner bend and a spine stress where the bws card is.
The rest are much better than these two but aren't perfect. I don't think a single book would get 9.8. Maybe one or two 9.6's. A large number of them near the bottom numbers and top numbers have a roll. The best looking books are the middle ones.
All pages are very WHITE, corners are great except for a few valiant corners. Most of the books look to be 9.4 (im not sure how much a roll would drop a grade)

Just to clarify, Bob has been recovering from an injury and that is probably why he has taken so long to respond.dino wrote:Right, sorry I should have been more specific as to my plans.UnknownTales wrote:so, the stack was sent back again for more sigs...

Dino,
I have no idea what you're talking about. If you're writing me--it's not at any e-mail address I currently use.
In fact--I haven't gotten an e-mail from you in quite some time. Since I mailed the books to Ms. Jackson.
That being said, you may e-mail me at: bob.layton@boblayton.com if you wish to exchange info or better yet, just send me what you wanted me to sign and I will gladly do it.
At the time, I DID receive an e-mail from you with explicit instructions--requesting me to only sign a select few books. (which I thought was peculiar) Perhaps, it was a misunderstanding based on how that request was worded.
I honestly don't know.
Again, I have no problem signing stuff, as long as I don't have to foot the bill.

LATEST UPDATE:
Got an email from Bob Layton today:
Dino,
Your package has arrived.
I'll get everything signed and mail it back to you on Monday. Okay?
Bob
If all goes well I should be able to have the books out Friday. If not there might be a wait as I'm going to be in Hong Kong for two weeks starting July 29th.
