I'm a Shooter fan due to all the unwashed fanboys that believe he is the comic book anti-christ. I dearly respect anyone that can tick off that many smelly virgins.

Long live Shooter. :thumb:

I do really have a button that says fanboy like from the Lobo comic. Where he goes to a comic book convention.

I know I have at least one metal "Bit Me, Fanboy!" button around here somewhere.......

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Not me either.
So what is this thread about Valiant and you or me. I remember vaguely when Valiant started I was excited about the new company and the use of some older characters that I liked. Turok was one and I had read some of his older comics so I was looking forard to seeing him. Robot Fighter was another I had read a few of the older ones with him in it.

The Valiant version of Magnus caught my attention when it first came to my LCS. I was hooked after reading the first issue.

Same here DJ, The problem I had though was that my LCS's hadn't ordered many if any Valiant comics. It was really hit or miss there for a while.

Those were the days though. I had 5 comic shops within 50 miles of my house. And there were 23 spinner racks within 10 miles. Today the nearest stores( 2 that are owned by the same guy) are 75 miles away, and there is only 1 spinner rack and 3 other places that have about 2 dozen comics each that are in a 10 mile area  ).

And nothing as good as Valiant.

Yeah, those were the good ol' days. It was cool seeing the Valiant Universe unfolding that first year. Everyone started to hear the buzz about this new comic book company and it wasn't long before every shop around was carrying Valiant.

Yep its to bad it died out. Maybe if Zoom Suit is a huge success it will be followed by other titles. Who knows which ones could resurface maybe changed but reconizable.
